Large detached dwelling (circa 5000sq.ft.) for a private client in the Loch Lomond National Park.  The dwelling commands wonderful views towards the loch.  Because the views are so wonderful it was decided to locate the main living space on the upper floor.  This living room and the dining room below are connected by a secondary spiral stair with the main feature staircase located in the heart of the cruciform plan.  Extensive gardens with 2 No. pools provide a setting for this modern dwelling featuring very high levels of insulation, heat recovery etc.  The dwelling, whilst modern, uses traditional materials such as slate, stone and traditional white harling.
