ARM were commissioned to remodel and extend a traditional farm house in North Ayrshire in 2017. The concept idea was to design a contemporary extension which reflects the architectural forms of the traditional farm house. The extension would include aspects of the existing buildings scale, materiality and form reconstructed in a contemporary manner that adds to the richness of the site.
